Presentation Description
2007 has been a busy year for Microsoft in evolving many products and platforms towards an even higher enterprise view. Great breakthroughs have been made in the core platform as well as virtualization, capacity, availability and protection. In this session, Microsoft will share highlights of the upcoming Windows Server 2008 release plus innovations in Virtualization, including the Microsoft Virtual Server platform and virtualization management. We'll also explore new offerings in storage solutions for Windows. In addition, we will discuss the differences between "availability" and "protection", highlighting new solutions for Exchange 2007 availability and the upcoming Data Protection Manager 2007.
Speaker Biography
Jon Reese has been active in the computing industry since 1985. He has helped hundreds of software developers and IT professionals implement Windows storage technologies since joining Microsoft in 1999.
