Presentation Description
The convergence of voice, video and data will place heavy demands on virtually all Enterprise Storage Networks in the near future. Most organizations are not prepared for this imminent surge in demand. Keith Barto will explore new features and services that increase the utility of Cisco's MDS platform in the storage environment and help position customers for the network performance that future applications will demand.

Speaker Biography
Keith Barto is responsible for providing technical education, training and engineering enablement for Cisco technologies including: SAN Fabric & Director platforms, WAN & Application Optimization, Infiniband and Converged Protocol Platforms. Keith is also a contributing member of several Alpha and Delta Teams within Cisco that evaluate and develop new advanced technologies in addition to CTAT & ASSET Cisco cross-functional consulting teams.

Prior to his role at Cisco, Barto was Chief Technology Officer for a Colorado-based System Integrator where he was responsible for defining solution architecture, data classification & management, retention policies and DR/BC strategies. He also had top-line responsibility for managing teams of storage architects, implementation engineering teams and "Day Two" support resources. Keith has also had extensive experience in LAN and WAN design, deployment and management including operational responsibility for several enterprises in the Federal, Public & Private Sectors.

Keith is an avid pilot and wine collector who resides in Colorado with his wife and daughter.
