Location

Nth Generation has two Southern California offices: Corporate Headquarters in the Rancho Bernardo area of San Diego and a satellite office in Irvine. Relocation will not be provided.

Project Manager - Junior

The role of the Junior Project Manager is to coordinate enterprise infrastructure projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes tracking orders, facilitate planning meetings, and over-seeing the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants, in a multi project environment, in order to deliver projects according to plan. This role requires strong multitasking, organizational and customer service skills. A Junior Project Manager must gain a technical understanding of mission critical enterprise architecture and applications as it relates to our 5 core solution areas as listed below: * Server Consolidation & Virtualization * Desktop Virtualization & Centralized Management * Storage Consolidation & Virtualization * Data Protection and Business Continuance * Compliance and Business Services

Inside Sales

Responsible for the technical support of the Sales team through generating configuration, price sourcing and sales administration. This position will work closely with Sales Account Managers, vendor partners and other departments in handling orders and providing customer service.

Senior System Administrator

The System Administrator (SA) is responsible for maintaining an enterprise class data center and disaster recovery site and as well as computing resources at our branch offices. This position is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure in a dynamic and fast pace environment. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and best practices. The ideal candidate can also act as a Network, Security and/or Exchange consultant and will be called upon to support our staff of twenty field engineers as a subject matter expert in at least one major discipline.

Solution Architect - Networking Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY This person is recognized as an expert Network Engineer with current 2010 certifications and has at least five years of consultant level experience using Cisco and/or ProCurve/3Com technologies in a large enterprise environment (hundreds to thousands of servers and over 10,000 users). This person performs on-site client consulting projects from both a Pre-Sales and Post-Sales perspective covering more than one of the following disciplines: * Network design across LAN, WAN solutions (routers, core/edge switches, wireless and data centers) * Network design encompassing Firewalls/VPN/SSL setup for disaster recovery, remote offices and VDI * Strong product knowledge of Cisco and/or ProCurve/3COM; additional experience on Brocade IP Products (Foundry) and F5 Networks is a plus * Networked Storage * Converged Infrastructure and Server Consolidation * Other disciplines may be required based on market trends

Microsoft Certified Architect

This person is recognized as an expert or Guru in all Microsoft Enterprise Technology with current 2010 certifications and has at least five years of consultant level experience using Microsoft technologies in a large enterprise environment (hundreds to thousands of servers and over 10,000 users. This person performs on-site client consulting projects from both a Pre-Sales and Post-Sales perspective covering more than one of the following disciplines: ™ Microsoft Enterprise Products such as, Exchange 2010, SQL Server and System Center ™ Converged Infrastructure and Server Consolidation ™ Server Virtualization, e.g. Hyper-V ™ Desktop Virtualization, e.g. Citrix ™ Networking ™ Networked Storage ™ Other disciplines may be required based on market trends
