HPE’s Antonio Neri Signs On To Keynote Nth Generation’s Annual Confab

Neri’s planned appearance will highlight the solution provider’s annual user conference, which will have presentations on a wide range of key IT issues, including from security issues with speakers from the NSA, FBI, and other law enforcement agencies.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise President and CEO Antonio Neri will keynote Nth Generation’s 2019 Symposium this fall.

Dan Molina, Chief Technology Officer for Nth Generation, a San Diego-based longtime HPE-focused solution provider, said his company is looking forward to Neri’s appearance at its 19th annual Nth Symposium, planned for Oct. 23 to 24 at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel in Anaheim, Calif.

“The CEO of our No. 1 partner at our most important symposium of the year is priceless,” Molina told CRN. “It shows the commitment of a world-class OEM to working with an important solution provider in the western U.S.”

Nth Generation, ranked No. 314 on CRN’s 2019 Solution Provider 500, is no stranger to big headliners for its symposium. The solution provider hosted former HPE CEO Meg Whitman at its 13th Symposium in 2013.

This year’s Nth Generation Symposium will be focused on working with HPE to help clients prepare for the changes that will impact their IT infrastructures going forward, Molina said.

“We will be spreading an aligned message with HPE and Antonio about being committed to AI and other advanced technologies,” he said. “It will be important to hear about this from the top executive.”

Neri is planning to speak on day two of the conference, as he was not available for day one, Molina said. He is also expected to hold an executive roundtable meeting with Nth’s top customers.

“It’s important for opening up a lot of direct discussions, and getting the response from the top leader at HPE,” he said.

Molina said it is still early to know for sure who else will visit the Nth Symposium from HPE, which is the event’s grand sponsor. However, he said, he is hoping Paul Hunter, HPE’s worldwide partner sales leader, will attend.

“This will be an opportunity for him to see a solution provider in action spreading the valuable HPE messaging to our customer organizations in southern California,” he said.

In addition to Neri and other HPE executives, the Nth Symposium also slated to have appearances from officials from the NSA (National Security Agency), the FBI, and local law enforcement officials to discuss key security issues, Molina said.

Nth Generation is also expanding the space it needs for the event to accommodate a larger crowd than usual, and may live-stream Neri’s keynote for those attendees not able to squeeze into the main ballroom, he said.
